ABC SOAPnet Super Soap Weekend 2008 Sweepstakes

1. Sponsors: American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. ("ABC"), 77 West 66th Street, New York, NY 10023, SoapNet, LLC ("SOAPnet"), 3800 West Alameda Avenue, Burbank, CA 91505 and Colgate-Palmolive Company, 300 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10022 ("Colgate" and, collectively with ABC and SOAPnet, the "Sponsors")

3. Sweepstakes Entry: The Sweepstakes begins 12:01am ET on 7/28/08 and ends 11:59pm ET on 9/7/08. SOAPnet's computer is the official clock for this Sweepstakes. To enter, navigate the Internet and visit www.SOAPnet.com, keyword: SSW and/or click on the icon that will take you to the "ABC SOAPnet Super Soap Weekend 2008 Sweepstakes" home page. You must be a registered member of SOAPnet.com to enter or you may become a member. Registration is free and only required once. Enter as follows: a) if you are an existing SOAPnet.com member, simply sign in on the Sweepstakes home page with your current member name and password. No other additional information will be requested or required; or b) if you are not a SOAPnet.com member, you can register by clicking on the link located on the Sweepstakes home page. You will be asked to provide your name, mailing address with zip code, country, e-mail address, gender, birthday, and to select a password. You may be asked to consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminders for upcoming SOAPnet.com promotions. Consenting to receive promotional or reminder e-mails is optional, does not have to be agreed to in order to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes and does not improve your chances of winning. In the event you do consent to receive these e-mails, the use of such e-mails shall be subject to the privacy policy of SOAPnet.com and you may opt out of receiving these e-mails at any time. Send your entry by clicking the submit button on the Sweepstakes page. Sponsors will not be responsible for late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm ET on 9/7/08, when the Sweepstakes ends. Limit of one entry per person per day. Duplicate or numerous submissions per day will be disqualified. All entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. By entering this Sweepstakes, participants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors, which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
4. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within six months prior to the start date of the Sweepstakes, performed services for any of the Sponsors, Administrator, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Sweepstakes or supplying the prize, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or win. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses, regardless of where they live. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year, whether related or not.
5. Liability Release: By entering, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsors, Disney Destinations, Administrator, and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies and prize suppliers and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives from any and all claims, liability, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property, including but not limited to death or personal injury, arising out of a participant's participation in the Sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use or misuse of any prize. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Sponsors assume no responsibility for any damage to a participant's or any other person's computer system which is occasioned by accessing the website or otherwise participating in the Sweepstakes, or for any computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Sponsors are not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, misprinted, late, lost, or damaged submissions or prize notifications; or for lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet service providers, websites, or other connections; or for miscommunications, failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions; or for any technical malfunctions, failures, difficulties or other errors of any kind or nature; or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or the website, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, and Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged, software-generated or other automated multiple entries will be accepted.

   If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, acts of war, terrorism, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the Sweepstakes and to determine winners from all eligible entries received prior to the action taken, or as otherwise deemed fair and equitable by Sponsors; and to disqualify any individuals who tamper with the entry process, violate these Official Rules, or act in a disruptive or abusive manner. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation in or downloading any materials from this Sweepstakes.

6. Prizes and Odds: The following prizes will be awarded: GRAND PRIZE (4 winners): Each Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) trip for four (4) to the Walt Disney World^® Resort near Orlando, FL, between November 14-16, 2008. Each Grand Prize consists of: round-trip coach class air transportation for four (4) to the Orlando International Airport from major airport closest to winner's residence; 3-day/2-night hotel accommodations (one room quad occupancy) at a Walt Disney World^® Resort hotel; four (4) 3-day Magic Your Way Base Tickets that will include admission to the ABC SOAPnet Super Soap Weekend at Disney's Hollywood Studios™; Disney VIP Tour Guide service on Saturday, November 15; the opportunity for Grand Prize winner only to ride once on an amusement park attraction with one ABC soap opera actor (of Sponsors' sole choosing); round-trip ground transportation between the Orlando International Airport and the Walt Disney World^® Resort; and ABC SOAPnet Super Soap Weekend merchandise (of Sponsors' sole choosing). Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of each Grand Prize: $5,800.00. FIRST PRIZE (10 winners): Each First Prize winner will receive an autographed ABC SOAPnet Super Soap Weekend Tee-shirt. ARV of each First Prize: $25.00. SECOND PRIZE (50 winners): Each Second Prize winner will receive an ABC SOAPnet Super Soap Weekend Survival Kit consisting of ABC SOAPnet Super Soap Weekend merchandise and/or Colgate products (as solely determined by Sponsors). ARV of each Second Prize: $20.00. ARV of all Prizes: $24,450.00.

   Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for all other expenses not specified herein, including but not limited to meals, tips, hotel incidentals and ground transportation costs. In the unlikely event that the ABC SOAPnet Super Soap Weekend is cancelled for any reason whatsoever, Grand Prize winner agrees that Sponsors and their agents shall have no further obligations other than to deliver airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transportation and theme park tickets to Walt Disney World^® Resort. Grand Prize winner and guests must travel together on specified itinerary. The Grand Prize winner's travel companions must be eighteen (18) years of age or older, or if the travel companion is a minor, the Grand Prize winner must be such companion's parent or legal guardian who must be one of the three (3) travel companions. Actual final value of Grand Prize may be considerably higher or lower based on point of departure and ticket and hotel availability and cost at time of purchase. Any Grand Prize winner who lives within 150 miles of the Orlando area will receive, in lieu of air travel, round-trip local transportation between winner's residence and hotel. In the event a Grand Prize winner and/or his/her travel companions engage in behavior that (as determined by Sponsors or their agents in their sole and absolute discretion) is obnoxious or threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, Sponsors or their agents reserve the right to terminate the trip or other applicable experience early, in whole or in part, and send Grand Prize winner and/or his or her travel companions home with no further compensation.

   Grand Prize Winners agree to travel and participate in any events between the dates of 11/14/08-11/16/08, or Grand Prize will be forfeited without compensation and an alternate winner may be selected, from all remaining qualified entries, time permitting. All travel dates and arrangements are subject to change, availability and Sponsors' approval. Winners and guests must provide own transportation to and from departure airport. Sweepstakes is available to over 100 million Internet users. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

   No substitution or transfer of prizes except with Sponsors' permission or where required by law. If for any reason prize becomes unavailable, Sponsors may award a substitute prize of equal or greater value. The amusement park ride with an ABC soap opera actor component of the prize is subject to soap opera actor's availability and professional commitments. The amusement park ride with an ABC soap opera actor component has no retail value; if a soap opera actor should become unavailable and/or for any reason is unable to ride amusement park attraction with Grand Prize winner, Grand Prize winner agrees that Sponsors and their agents shall have no liability related thereto, with the Sponsors' sole obligation to Grand Prize winner being the provision of the other components of the prize. Taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. Grand Prize winners will each receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the actual final retail value of their prizes. Grand Prize winners must allow 2-3 weeks after confirmation as Grand Prize winner for travel arrangement of prize.

   By entering and if selected as a winner, each winner grants Sponsors the right to use participant's name, voice, photograph, prize information biographical data and/or likeness in connection with any television program or other production as it may be broadcast, distributed or exhibited in any and all media throughout the world in perpetuity and in advertising and publicizing thereof, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsors shall not have any obligation to film, use or air any winner's appearance.

7. Validation/Winner Selection: Winners will be randomly selected on or about 9/12/08, from among all eligible entries received. The drawing will be conducted by Administrator, an independent sweepstakes administrator, whose decision with respect to the Sweepstakes will be final. Potential Grand Prize winners will be notified by e-mail and/or postal mail and will be required to sign and return within five (5) business days an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification, and, unless prohibited by law, a Publicity Release. If a potential Grand Prize winner does not reply to such notification within two (2) business days, an e-mail notification is undeliverable after up to three (3) attempts and/or the Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification and Publicity Release is not returned within specified time period, winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected in a random drawing, from all remaining qualified entries, time permitting. In the event of any dispute concerning the identity of any Internet entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized holder of the transmitting e-mail account. Travel companions must also sign and return travel releases, within the same time period. In the event travel companion is a minor, his or her parent or legal guardian must sign and return the required releases on minor's behalf within the specified time period and accompany the minor on the trip.
8. Winners list: For the names of the prize winners, available after 9/30/08, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: ABC SOAPnet Super Soap Weekend 2008 Sweepstakes Winners, c/o LeadDog Marketing Group, 159 West 25th Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10001. Requests received after 11/28/08 will not be honored.
