Registration: You must be a registered member of the Walt Disney Internet Group ("WDIG") family of sites to enter. Registration is free and only required once. If you've ever registered with one of WDIG's family sites, including ABC.com, ABCNEWS.com, Disney.com, ESPN.com, FamilyFun.com, Movies.com, SOAPnet.com, and more, you need not register again. You may be asked to consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminder e-mails from the WDIG Family of Sites. Consenting to receive promotional or reminder e-mails is optional and does not have to be agreed upon in order to be eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes and does not improve your chances of winning. In the event you do consent to receive these e-mails, the use of such e-mails shall be subject to the privacy policies of WDIG and you may opt out of receiving these e-mails at any time. (For WDIG's complete privacy policy, direct your Internet browser to http://disney.go.com/corporate/legal/wdig_privacy.html. Limit one (1) entry per person or e-mail address, per day (12:00:00 a.m. ET – 11:59:59 p.m. ET). Multiple entries in excess of this limitation or mass entry attempts will result in disqualification of all entries by such person. Entries must be manually key-stroked; use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify WDIG if entrant changes his/her e-mail address by amending their e-mail address via the registration procedure for the particular, applicable WDIG site; for example, if registered with ABC.com, go to (http://register.go.com/abc/login).
Potential winner will be notified by e-mail or phone on or about 1/7/09. Failure to respond to the initial verification e-mail within three (3) business days after notification or return of e-mail notification as undeliverable after three (3) attempts may result in disqualification. Potential winner will be required to sign and return within five (5) business days an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification, and a Publicity Release where allowed by law. If the Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification and Publicity Release is not returned to Sponsor within specified time period, potential winner may be disqualified. If winner is disqualified, prize may be awarded to an alternate winner selected from all remaining eligible entries received. In the event of any dispute concerning the identity of any entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized holder of the transmitting e-mail account. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
Sponsor and their independent contractors, partners and agencies are not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures beyond Sponsor's control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct the Sweepstakes and award the prize by means of a random drawing comprised of all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor or otherwise to award the prize in a manner which is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Notice of termination/modification/suspension of Sweepstakes will be posted on the website. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or loss, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this Sweepstakes.
Entrants further agree not to knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Sweepstakes and/or prevent others from participating in the Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE ANY ONLINE SERVICE OR WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES VIOLATES CRIMINAL OR CIVIL LAWS. IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT IS MADE, SPONSOR MAY DISQUALIFY ANY ENTRANT MAKING SUCH ATTEMPT AND SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.
Winner agrees to travel on specific dates to be determined at Sponsors' sole discretion to coincide with the Rock the Soap Cruise ("Cruise") currently scheduled for 3/20/09 – 3/23/09. Dates of cruise and travel subject to change by Sponsor. If winner cannot travel on dates specified by Sponsor prize must be forfeited. Winner acknowledges and agrees that portion of prize relating to Cruise events has no retail value and are subject to change or cancellation. If winner lives within approximately 150 miles of Los Angeles, California (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion), he/she may receive, in lieu of air transportation, round-trip ground transportation between winner's residence and Cruise and no additional compensation will be provided. The winner is solely responsible for all other expenses related to trip not specified herein, including but not limited to shore excursions, beverages, tips, taxes and incidentals. Winner and guest must travel together on specified itinerary, including same departure date, destination and return date or Grand Prize may be forfeited in its entirety. Accommodation restrictions and blackout dates may apply. All travel dates and arrangements are subject to change, availability and Sponsor's approval. Sponsor is not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay. Certain documentation and requirements may be necessary for travel, including a valid passport. Winner and his/her guest are solely responsible for any documentation and requirements and determining applicable procedures and restrictions. In addition, the winner may be required to present a valid credit card at the Cruise Ship at the time of check-in to cover any incidental expenses incurred during the Cruise. Winner and guest must provide own transportation to and from departure airport. Winner's guest must be 18 years of age or older and must execute a Release of Liability and Release of Publicity (where legal), prior to issuance of travel documents.
No substitution or transfer of prize except with Sponsor's written permission or where required by law. If for any reason announced prize becomes unavailable, Sponsor in its sole discretion may award a substitute prize of equal or greater value. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Prize will only be delivered to address within the United States. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive a 1099 tax form reflecting actual value of any prize valued at $600 or more. Sweepstakes available to over 100 million Internet users. Odds of winning Grand Prize depend on total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes.
By entering and if selected as a winner, entrants also authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, photograph, prize information, biographical data and city and state of residence in programming or promotional material or on a winner's list (if applicable) without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor's sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation. Sweepstakes subject to the laws of the United States only. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
